The Gruissan-info web site aims to provide you with all the essential information you need to plan your holiday.
There is a comprehensive list of hotels and campsites, and details of estate agents with properties to rent. The restaurants and leisure activities are all mentioned here, as are the reasons for coming to Gruissan, the beaches, the climate and the beautiful scenery.
Gruissan is on the Mediterranean coast near Narbonne, between the hills of the Clape ( rocky hillside
of pine trees and vineyards known as the garrigue), the lakes frequented by the pink flamingos.
Gruissan was originally a fishing village on a small island surrounded by marshland. The narrow streets
of Gruissan village encircle the ruined 13th century castle tower. In recent years a modern yachting marina,
with holiday apartment buildings around the palm-lined quays, has turned it into a superb holiday
destination in the Languedoc.

Gruissan is a small resort with everything you need for a great holiday. Miles of clean uncrowded beaches with fine sand, warm seas and safe bathing for children. There is a wide range of sporting and aquatic activities for all the family including windsurfing, sailing, riding, cycling and an amusement park.
Apart from the Casino and the four nightclubs, there is plenty of night life
in the bars and restaurants around the marina, where you can dine while overlooking
the yachts and listen to live musicians playing all types of music.
